BY SHUTTLE BUS:
Shuttle buses will be available from the Long Island Marriott, beginning Monday, September 19, through Tuesday, September 27.

BY LONG ISLAND RAIL ROAD:
For the Long Island Rail Road schedule visit http://lirr42.mta.info/ and check for arrival at Hempstead or Mineola.

Taxis are available. Ask them to take you to the Mitchel Field parking facility on Charles Lindbergh Boulevard in Uniondale. 

BY AIR:
If you are arriving through John F. Kennedy or LaGuardia airports, we recommend that you do not take a yellow NYC cab, as the charge would be for both ways. Local car services include All Island Taxi 516-481-1111 or SuperShuttle (800) BLUE VAN (258-3826) or www.supershuttle.com

BY TAXI OR BY CAR SERVICE:
Drop off and pick up for all car service is in the Mitchel Field parking facility, not on the Hofstra campus. Due to security measures and temporary road closures on and around the Hofstra campus, this will be the most reliable method of getting to and from the site, especially on September 26.

Accreditation Center

The Accreditation Center is located in
The Sandra and David Mack Student Center

There is a parking lot adjacent to the student center where you may park for up to 1 hour while you pick up your credentials. Note: If you arrive on September 26 you will not be able to use this lot.  You must go to the Mitchel Parking Lot and take the shuttle bus for Uncredentialed Media to the Accreditation Center. 

Accreditation Center hours:  (available for pickup of official CPD/USSS credentials)

To get your credential, you will need a government-issued photo ID as well as a secondary form of ID.

 If you arrive on site early you may be given a temporary pre-debate credential.  This credential will only be good until official CPD passes are issued starting on Saturday, 9/24.  Campus credentials may be used outside the perimeter.

Once you have your credentials you must move your vehicle to the Mitchell Field Complex (333 Earle Ovington Blvd, Uniondale, NY 11553) there will be shuttle service to the Media Filing Center beginning Monday, September 20.

Take the shuttle to the Media Filing Center and stop at the Hofstra Rate Card Desk to check on facility orders you have already placed or place orders you need.  If you will be in the Media Filing Center you will need to check with the CPD desk when it opens in order to be assigned a seat. Phone and data service will be turned on for you in a timely fashion.
