Transportation & Shuttles

Other than on debate day there will be shuttle service starting on October 11th between the Media parking lot at the Omni Reckson field and the north end of the Media Filing Center. Service to/from the Marriott Hotel begins on Sunday the 14th. There will be students on most shuttles to help answer any questions you may have.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2012---Debate Day

There is no direct hotel to campus transportation service available, except from the LI Marriott. All credentialed visitors must park at Mitchel Field where designated buses will provide transportation to the Media Center and the Mack Sports Complex.

All uncredentialed media must park at the Reckson Center where buses will provide transportation to the student center Credential Office. Once credentialed, you can proceed to a security checkpoint between the student center and the Media Filing Center.  The total distance between the credentialing center and the media filing center is approximately ¼ mile.

At the conclusion of the Debate, once all attendees have vacated the campus, bus and van service will resume according to the schedule.

From 7:30pm until 8:30pm and from 10:15pm to 11:15pm there will be a suspension of shuttle service on this day only.
