Author, scholar and activist Cornel West came to Hofstra to discuss the issues he believes should be priorities in the 2012 election – race, poverty and social justice. Dr. West spent 90 minutes speaking to students and community residents, and then stayed for University watch party for the first presidential debate at the University of Denver.
