Faculty Engagement in HUHC

It is in HUHC’s mission to be at the “forefront of Hofstra University’s pursuit of academic excellence.”  To that end we work to ensure that Hofstra’s most successful students have as rich and robust an educational experience as possible. Our partners in this effort are the Hofstra faculty whose talents and creativity stimulate and inspire.  Teaching for HUHC provides faculty with unique opportunities to engage and challenge students, to experiment with new pedagogical strategies, and to thicken their intellectual and ties with colleagues from across different disciplines and fields of study.

Faculty participate directly within HUHC by teaching in either our first year course sequence or in honors seminars, by providing our students with enrichment opportunities via the honors option, or by becoming an HUHC Faculty Mentor.

We welcome faculty interest in HUHC, its students, and its mission.
