This 49-70 credit program is designed for educators in pre-K-12 or higher education settings who wish to develop the advanced leadership skills needed to create organizational learning environments. Learn more about the EdD in Educational and Policy Leadership.
Dr. Rebecca Natow is an expert on higher education policy and has conducted extensive research on the U.S. Department of Education’s rulemaking process, performance-based funding for higher education, federal higher education policymaking, technology use in postsecondary developmental education, and research utilization in the creation of federal regulations. Dr. Natow is the director of Hofstra's Higher Education Leadership and Policy Studies, MSEd program that trains prospective leaders to work in diverse areas within the higher education field. She is also the director of the EdD in Educational and Policy Leadership program designed for those looking to build further on their higher education background.
Dr. Eustace G. Thompson, Professor of Teaching, Learning and Technology, has 37 years of experience in urban and suburban public schools settings and held the positions of deputy superintendent, assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction, H.S. principal, and M.S. principal. He is a certified curriculum auditor and walk-through supervision trainer. His special interests include curriculum development and organizational leadership.
