A Medication Request Form must be filled out by your child's physician, and must either be sent into the camp office ahead of time or accompany the medication being dropped off.

Medication must be in the original container, including the label with your campers name, dosage, and the prescriber's name.

The mission of the Hofstra University Sports Performance Summer Camp is to provide the highest level of athletic performance training in an environment that prioritizes safety, builds positive self-esteem, and promotes a desire for lifelong growth. Athletes will have the opportunity to work with current and certified Division I strength and conditioning coaches at Hofstra University, and be training in a Division I training facility. The most current and scientifically-backed training methods are used on a consistent basis to emphasize speed, agility, power, strength, mobility, stability, coordination, and core strength.

What to Wear/Bring

Each camper should wear daily: cotton T-shirt, athletic shorts, sneakers, and sweat socks. Campers must bring their own water bottle.

This program takes place after the camp day, it will be held from 4:00pm - 5:30pm. There will be no transportation or food provided.


Please note that opening of on-campus summer camp or any on-campus programs will be subject to all then-current New York State and Nassau County Department of Health requirements and guidance. Any individual visiting the Hofstra campus or attending on-campus programs or camps will be required to follow all such rules and University policies relating to health and safety. Participants will be notified of University policies prior to the start of any on-campus program.
