Functions of the advertising team:
- Review requests for ad creation, fulfilled by the director of advertising
- Develop communication strategies and media plans for larger-scale campaigns
- Assist Creative Services in the development of landing pages and microsites
- Consult with other departments on existing ads and creative assets and make adjustments within budgetary limitations
- Oversee the development of advertisements for print, digital, search, radio, and social
- Facilitate the creation of creative assets (photography, designs, messaging)
- Ensure that all creative assets adhere to Hofstra’s brand guidelines and standards
- Act as a point of contact for all third-party advertising vendors
