My favorite Educate ’08 event was when David Gergen came to give the "State of the Union" address. I really was impressed and came out more informed about a lot of issues. He talked about education and scholarships and how it was not focused enough, which, personally, is so important to me.
I really believe that going to these events is going to make me informed as a young voter and a student. My intended career will most likely be in politics and something international. Educate 08' will definitely prepare me and set me ahead. I am from a small part of Philly, where meeting people like George Stephanopoulos doesn’t happen every day.
