PhD students and postdoc scholars are invited to join an immersive foundations of business experience. Collaborate with Zarb faculty and graduate students, fellow scientists, and law students and learn what’s required to bring your vision to market.
Design
- Two weeks on campus at Zarb with online asynchronous learing modules for deeper learning.
- Week-long sessions delivered by Hofstra faculty and affiliated practitioners with relevant experience to lead case discussions.
Week 1
Knowledge acquisition through multi-modal delivery including hands-on learning in the trading room, cyber war room, core skills, and behavioral lab.
Week 2
Team learning with groups of scientists, MBA students, and JD students collaborating on developing a business plan, progressing from ideation to pitch.
Finals
Final presentations delivered to VCs and other industry veterans.
