Making Strides to Fight Breast Cancer

Teams from Hofstra University raised thousands of dollars for the American Cancer Society’s annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk at Jones Beach State Park on October 16, 2022.

Faculty, students and alumni from the Physician Assistant Studies Program raised approximately $1,300, while a team formed by the Department of Campus Recreation, the Department of Public Safety and the Office of Student Leadership & Engagement raised an additional $1,000.

This year, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer celebrated its 30th anniversary and took place in more than 150 communities nationwide.
