Getting Started With Your New Campus Job

Congratulations! Your campus job offer acceptance marks the start of something exciting!

Next Steps

Now that you’ve secured a campus job, it’s time to complete some essential steps to officially begin working and getting paid. Remember, work cannot start until all forms are properly submitted.

You will either receive a New Hire EPAF (Electronic Personnel Action Form) via email or a paper hiring document.

Apply for a Social Security Card if you don’t already have one.

Schedule an in-person appointment with the Office of Student Employment (OSE) to submit the completed new hire paperwork and present your identification documents.

Bring your completed paperwork and the following documents with you to this meeting:

  • Passport(s) with entering and departing stamps
  • Visa(s)
  • I-20
  • I-94
  • Social Security card

Following your appointment with the Office of Student Employment, you must go directly to the Payroll Office at the rear of the same building and provide them with the following:

  • Passport(s) with entering and departing stamps
  • Visa(s)
  • I-20
  • Most recent I-94
  • Social Security card
