Interviewer: How did you get the idea?

Steve Huber: I like to build things. I’ve always liked to build things. I always liked to use my hands. I liked these boats—the shape of them, the tugboats, the colors, and how powerful they are. On every vacation I’ve gone on, I’ve incorporated taking pictures of these boats. I’ve gone on cruises—there’s nothing like going on a cruise because there are always tugboats around, pushing the cruise liners into position. Every time I was on a cruise and knew we were going to dock at six in the morning, I made sure I was up to be out on the deck when we were coming into the port, so I could take pictures. Also, I’ve met a lot of nice guys. I would say I met 15 to 20 guys at the pond, and we stay pretty friendly with these boats. We meet every Sunday and then we’ve gone to a lot of things. We’ve gone into the city, into the Intrepid Museum, and we’ve gone to tugboat and other shows. They’re really nice guys.
