Student Research Highlights

Discover. Innovate. Transform.

At Hofstra, students have opportunities and support to pursue original research as early as their first year, on their own, in teams, or under the guidance of a faculty member. We want you to test yourself and your ideas – in the lab or in the field, in the library or on stage. Collaborate with your professor to explore ways to protect beach grass, investigate how virtual reality can improve hurricane warnings, or study entrepreneurship among immigrants.

Our students have presented their research at scholarly conferences, been published in respected academic journals, gone on to prestigious graduate programs, and won Fulbright Scholarships.

Find out more about how research projects helped these Hofstra students discover something new about the world, and themselves.
