Community Resource Dog

Introducing Mack!

Public Safety’s first-ever Community Resource Dog

Mack is a specially trained Australian Labradoodle puppy who joins Hofstra from Upstate New York. A key member of the Public Safety Team, Mack will serve as the lead ambassador for our new PAWS Program: Promoting Assistance, Wellness, and Support. The PAWS program is designed to further support Public Safety’s commitment to community engagement while providing new opportunities to interact with students, faculty, and the entire campus population. From attending large campus events to one-on-one meetings, Mack will be focused on making a positive impact at Hofstra. We can’t wait for him to meet you all!
