Dear Colleagues,
The Provost’s Office is excited to announce the second in a series of informal “research mixers” on Wednesday December 1st on the topic “Diversity.” The idea is to bring together researchers who share an interest in a broad topic area and foster multidisciplinary collaboration. Faculty from all disciplines are welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
This second event will begin with brief presentations about Diversity, followed by time to network and enjoy refreshments. Hofstra’s faculty will speak at this event:
- Craig Rustici, Department of English, School of Humanities, Fine and Performing Arts
- Nicholas Salter, Department of Psychology, School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics
- Barbara Stark, Maurice A. Deane School of Law
- Richard Hayes, Department of Management and Entrepreneurship, Frank G. Zarb School of Business
- Christopher Niedt, Department of Sociology, Peter S. Kalikow School of Government, Public Policy and International Affairs.
