On October 26, 2009, the Zarb School of Business and the Institute of Real Estate at Hofstra University hosted the seminar "Real Estate and Other Investments: 2009 and Beyond." The seminar featured Scott Rechler, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of RXR Realty and Dr. Robert H. Edelstein, Maurice Mann Chair in Real Estate at the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley who gave the keynote addresses. Ten other leading real estate professionals spoke at three consecutive panels during the seminar.
