To apply for financial aid, you will need one or more FSA IDs:
- Every student should apply for a U.S. Department of Education FSA ID. This number is required when filing for federal financial aid (e.g., FASFA). This can be done at www.studentaid.gov or call 1-800-4 FED AID (1-800-433-3243).
- New York state residents should also apply for a New York State Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC) PIN so that they may file for New York State's Tuition Assistance Program (TAP). This can be done at www.hesc.ny.gov or call 1-888-NYSHESC.
While international students are not eligible for federal or state funding, they may qualify for University.
