Bio

Received his A.B. from DePauw University and his M.A. (Ed.) and Ph.D. from Washington University in St. Louis, and served at Rutgers University before coming to Hofstra. His scholarly and research interests include reflective practice, the centrality of assumptions in promoting or resisting change, systems thinking applied to school improvement, learning and learning organizations, pedagogy for facilitating adult learning, moving learning to the real center of the educational enterprise, and assessment of outcomes and value added of leadership preparation programs.
