Bio
Dr. Li is primarily interested in information privacy and security, business analytics, and information systems. He is also interested in health information technology, public health interventions, and public health informatics. Currently, his current research projects focus on addressing privacy and security issues associated with electronic health records, online social networks, open medical data, and big data analytics. He is also conducting research on business intelligence, public health interventions, personal health records, digital health, and blockchain technology. His courses at Hofstra include Information Systems, Data Mining, Data Visualization, Project Management, Java Programming, and others
Teaching Interests
I teach a variety of information systems and business analytics courses, with a special interest in teaching the application of the principles and techniques of information systems and data science to current business problems.
Research Interests
My research interests include information privacy and security, business analytics, and health information technology. I am also interested in public health interventions, digital health, and business intelligence.
