Bio
Vincent Guarnaccia, Ph.D., associate professor, has been a core faculty member in the Ph.D. Program in Combined Clinical-School Psychology since 1972. As assistant director for school psychology, Dr. Guarnaccia is responsible for overseeing the third-year school internship placements.
His teaching and research interests are in the areas of individual psychodiagnostic assessment, the assessment and treatment of marital and family dysfunction, and issues related to compulsive and addictive behaviors. Dr. Guarnaccia is a reviewer for the Journal of Personality Assessment and is a Fellow of the Society for Personality Assessment. He maintains an active private practice and is called upon frequently by the media to offer his observations on a wide range of socially significant issues.
