Bio

Howard Hausman received his BSEE and MSEE degrees from Polytechnic University / Tandon School of Engineering, New York University and is President/CEO of RF Microwave Consulting Services. Mr. Hausman is also an Adjunct Professor at Hofstra University, School of Engineering, teaching courses in Electromagnetic Field Theory, Electronic Circuits, Signal Analysis and Radar. Formerly Mr. Hausman was President/CEO of MITEQ, Inc., a microwave engineering company with approximately 700 employees. The company designed products for ground based satellite communications systems, space borne microwave systems, Radar systems, Reconnaissance systems, commercial aircraft WiFi systems, and various microwave products for defense electronics. Following the acquisition of MITEQ, Mr. Hausman consulted to the merged L3-narda-MITEQ division for approximately two years. Howard Hausman also started and sold after 15 years a successful microwave systems and components company.

During his career, Howard Hausman served as Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering, before being appointed President/CEO of MITEQ, Inc. His engineering accomplishments encompassed designing microwave systems and components for satellite communications, Space Craft, Radar and Reconnaissance systems that include receivers, transmitters, amplifiers and synthesizers. Mr. Hausman was also an Adjunct Professor at Polytechnic University, now NYU Tandon School of Engineering where he taught graduate and under graduate courses in Electronic Engineering.

Howard Hausman is also a recipient of the New York University / Polytech Distinguished Alumni Award, the IEEE LI Section Alex Gruenwald Award "For outstanding contributions to enhance the knowledge of the IEEE LI Section members in Satellite Communications and Microwave Theory" and an Award from NASA for work on the Mars Landing Systems. Mr. Hausman is currently the Chairman of the IEEE LI Section Communications Society (COMSOC) and was selected to review papers for the IEEE MIT Undergraduate Research Technology Conference.

Howard Hausman has lectured around the world and authored many papers relating to microwave systems, satellite communications, Radar, and reconnaissance systems. Mr. Hausman was awarded a patent titled "Measuring Satellite Linearity From Earth Using A Low Duty Cycle Pulsed Microwave Signal", ("U.S. Pat 8,391,781B2,'') and has an approved patent application titled "Method of Transmitting Higher Power From a Satellite by more Efficiently Using The Existing Satellite Power Amplifiers". He also authored a Microwave Engineering text book "Microwave Power Amplifier Design with MMIC Modules" published by Artech House, Boston and London.
