Bio
Peter (Ken) Young has been an adjunct professor at Hofstra for several years, teaching a variety of PR classes to both undergraduates and graduates. Young is director of public relations and marketing for Molloy College, overseeing the college’s branding and marketing initiatives.
Prior to working at Molloy, Peter (Ken) Young served as a communications professional for international corporations including 1-800-Flowers, Sports Illustrated, and Henry Schein. While at 1-800-Flowers, he helped the company go public and also oversaw the publication of company CEO Jim McCann’s autobiography, Stop and Sell the Roses: Lessons from Business and Life.
An experienced writer, Young’s articles have appeared in Sports Illustrated, People magazine, The Sporting News and Newsday. He is also the author of a baseball book, Cy Young Award Winners.
