Bio

Kathleen Maurer Smith is an Adjunct Professor of Sociology at Hofstra University. She has taught at Hofstra since 1980. She is also the Dean for Graduate Academic Affairs and Co-Director of the Community Research Institute at Molloy College. She holds the following degrees in Sociology: BA from Molloy College, MA from Adelphi University, and PHD from CUNY Graduate Center.
