BFA in Theater Arts (Performance)

How To Apply

  1. You must first submit a BFA in Performance application form.
  2. Sign up for a BFA in Performance audition.
    • Admitted Student Day on Saturday, February 22, 2025
    • Admitted Student Day on Saturday, March 8, 2025
  3. You MUST submit an application to the university indicating that you wish to be a drama major.

Auditions are in person, and will take place in the Joan and Donald Schaeffer Black Box Theater.  

Please prepare:

  • Two contrasting one-minute monologues
    OR
  • A single one-minute monologue
    And
    One minute of a song from the Golden Age of Musicals (1940s-1960s)
    An accompanist will be provided. Please bring sheet music.

In addition, please bring a résumé. No headshot is needed.

Your BFA audition will also serve as your evaluation for one of our six Talent Scholarships. There is no additional action required on your part.
