CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:
Yin Yoga
While “yang” yoga focuses on your muscles, yin yoga targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, and joints. It’s slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body. Because you’re holding poses for a longer period of time than you would in other traditional types of yoga, yin yoga helps you stretch and lengthen those rarely-used tissues while also teaching you how to breathe through discomfort and sit with your thoughts.
Yogalates
This fun fusion class encompasses the best of the practice of yoga and the core-focused intensity of mat Pilates. Participants will benefit from the physical and mental aspects of both practices. Themed playlists are sure to keep participants motivated and engaged through the class! No experience necessary. Yoga mat required.
Glute Camp
Experience the ultimate booty transformation as our booty sculpting classes take you through a series of powerful compound exercises, unlocking the secret to firm, lifted glutes and a sculpted lower body. Yoga mat must be supplied by attendee.
Mat Pilates
This all-level mat-based Pilates class focuses on improving strength, stability, posture, proper breath control, and flexibility. Each class will work to balance all muscle groups' strength and flexibility, with an emphasis on challenging the core muscles with each movement. Classes will be taught using slow, controlled movements. Fun themed playlists are sure to keep participants motivated and engaged through the class! No experience necessary. Yoga mat required.
Hip Hop
Step into the energetic world of a hip-hop dance class, where rhythmic beats meet dynamic movements. This vibrant and inclusive environment is buzzing with enthusiasm and creativity. With each step, students build strength, coordination, and self-expression, embracing the spirit of hip-hop culture and leaving the studio with a newfound sense of confidence and style.
Cycling
Cycling class is a low-impact workout that deserves a place in your routine, regardless of your fitness level or experience. The activity is excellent for improving cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, joint stability, and mental wellness, just to name a few significant spin class health benefits. If you’re ready to give spin class a spin, check out our schedule today.
Vinyasa Express Yoga
Step into an Express Vinyasa class, a condensed yet invigorating yoga experience designed to fit seamlessly into your busy schedule. This dynamic session flows through a series of poses in a faster-paced sequence, synchronizing breath with movement. Led by an experienced instructor in a studio environment, this Vinyasa class focuses on fluid transitions between poses, allowing you to build heat, strength, and flexibility in a shorter timeframe.
Gentle Yoga
Gentle yoga is essentially what it sounds like—a gentler style of hatha yoga practice. It is performed at a slower pace, with less intense positions, and usually includes extended time for meditation, yogic breath work, and relaxation. A gentle class usually includes more warm up movements, and the yoga postures are often held for longer times.
Total Body
A total body workout routine is a great way to stay fit, healthy, and energetic. Rather than focus on the same muscle group every time you hit the gym, it's important to concentrate on your body as a whole.
All Levels Vinyasa
This all-level vinyasa yoga class introduces the basics of the yoga practice. It is designed for all levels from beginners to those who have a regular yoga practice. Participants will be guided to move mindfully through a sequence of poses to improve the mind-body-breath connection, increase self-awareness, improve sleep, and reduce stress. No experience necessary. Yoga mat required.
Pilates
Pilates is a type of exercise and body conditioning first used as a way for dancers to recover from injury. Today, people other than dancers do Pilates for its health benefits. It highlights precise movements, controlled breathing, and muscle engagement, enhancing muscle tone and stability.
Yin and Meditation
Equal parts science and spirit, Yin Yoga and meditation can be experienced as a practice of optimal well-being for the whole self. Combining the practices of Yin Yoga and mindfulness meditation creates powerful possibilities for transformation and holistic healing on all layers of being—body, mind, and heart.
Ashtanga Yoga
Ashtanga is a very dynamic and athletic form of hatha yoga, made up of six series or levels, with a fixed order of postures. It is rooted in vinyasa, the flowing movements between postures, with a focus on energy and breath. While it is a very physical practice, it also promotes mental clarity and inner peace.
~ Please remember to bring a yoga mat, towel and water to class.~
