Game Room features include:

Game Room Guest Policy
No guests are permitted in the Game Room. Only students and staff with a valid Hofstra ID are allowed to use the Game Room. Game Room staff will ask to see a Hofstra ID for anyone who enters.

As part of the services offered to students, the Game Room provides comfortable, modern furniture and state-of-the-art equipment and games, making it the perfect place to relax with friends, eat lunch, work on homework, or simply unwind during a busy day. Any group can reserve the Game Room for meetings or events, but the room always stays open to the entire Hofstra community even when reserved.
There will always be a staff member (Hofstra student) on duty while the Game Room is open. You must be a Hofstra student with a valid Hofstra ID to swipe in and/or take out any equipment.
Programs are implemented throughout the semester including video game tournaments, ping-pong/pool tournaments, and workshops. Prizes for these events have included a new iPod Video, mall gift cards, and bookstore gift cards. Groups are encouraged to use the space to host events such as meetings, fundraisers, programs, and more. Snacks can be served at every gaming event.
