Robert (Bob) D. Rosenthal is chair, chief executive officer, and chief investment officer of First Long Island Investors LLC, a wealth management firm based in Jericho that provides comprehensive investment management and family office services to affluent individuals and families as well as select institutions. Bob conceived of and co-founded First Long Island Investors in 1983. He was a key member of the Entenmann’s Bakery leadership team (as EVP and COO) for several years, where he successfully planned and executed the company’s public offering in 1976, and subsequent sale in 1978. After Entenmann’s went through its second acquisition (first to Warner-Lambert and then to General Foods), Bob was managing the Entenmann families’ assets and conceived First Long Island Investors with the thought that others on Long Island could use the same sophisticated services. The Entenmann families became the firm’s first clients.
