You can choose from Weekend Admitted Student Days, Weekday Admitted Student Days, Daily Information Sessions and Tours, Academic Specialty Tour Days, Hofstra Pride Athletic Events, and Virtual Experiences including, but not limited to, a Virtual Admitted Student Day and Virtual Mock Classes.

In-Person Visit Experiences

In-Person Information Session and Campus Tour

Meet an admission counselor, learn more about the admission process at Hofstra, and take a guided walking tour of campus led by one of our Hofstra Pride Guides.

Reservations are required; please book early. Please note, residence halls will be shown during your visit.

  • Monday-Friday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
  • Saturday (and select Sundays) at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Hofstra Pride Athletics is comprised of 21 varsity sports teams all competing at the NCAA Division I level in the Colonial Athletic Association. Students receive two free tickets to all Hofstra sporting events and we encourage all admitted students to attend. Come see the Pride of LI! 🦁

Virtual Experiences

As an admitted student, you can experience Hofstra from anywhere in the world!

Visit Hofstra from wherever you are in the world! Your visit will begin with a virtual information session and an introduction to academic life at Hofstra. Next, you'll take a virtual campus tour with one of our Pride Guides (student tour guides). During the virtual tour, you will have the opportunity to experience Hofstra’s Student Center, a residence hall, and many of the academic facilities available to undergraduate students. Combined, this visit will help you discover if Hofstra is a place you can call home.

Hofstra's Program for Academic Learning Skills (PALS) Information Session
Do you have an IEP or 504 in school? Do you have any condition that might require an accommodation, either in or out of the classroom? Do you anticipate having any disability-related challenges in transitioning to college? If so, this session is for you. Join this webinar to learn about Hofstra’s Program for Academic Learning Skills (PALS) and be introduced to the office of Student Access Services (SAS). Join members of the Hofstra community for a discussion and get all of your questions answered.

Hofstra University cordially invites you to attend a virtual tour designed exclusively for the parents of admitted students. This exciting live virtual tour will give an in-depth view of our beautiful campus. We look forward to showing you all the exciting opportunities that await your student!

Hofstra Success by Design
Hofstra University invites you to attend this virtual session designed exclusively for the parents of admitted students! In this session, you will hear from representatives of The Center for University Advising, First-Year Connections (FYC), and the Dean of Students about New Student Orientation. Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Kristin Weingartner, will talk about first-year seminars and discuss how to help your student see all of the academic options during their first year at Hofstra, while still fulfilling degree requirements.

Q&A with the Executive Director of Admission
In this virtual session, the Executive Director of Undergraduate Admission, Lindsay Salvucci, will be available to answer all of your questions as your family is preparing to make the decision to become a part of the Pride.
