Meet an admission counselor, learn more about the admission process at Hofstra, and take a guided walking tour of campus led by one of our Hofstra Pride Guides.
Reservations are required; please book early. Please note, at the present time residence halls will be shown during your visit.
Monday-Friday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Personalize your visit with a Special Interest Tour tailored to your academic interests! Start with an overview of your chosen field, and then embark on a behind-the-scenes tour of our facilities. Afterward, our Pride Guides will show you the rest of campus, ensuring you get a feel for life at Hofstra. Available tours include Biology, Business, Chemistry, Communication, Dance, Drama, Education, Engineering and Computer Science, Forensic Science, Health Sciences, Music, Nursing, and Physician Assistant Studies.

Virtual Group Information Session and Tour
Visit Hofstra from wherever you are in the world! Your visit will begin with a virtual information session and an introduction to academic life at Hofstra. Next, you'll take a virtual campus tour with one of our Pride Guides (student tour guides). During the virtual tour, you will have the opportunity to experience Hofstra’s Student Center, a residence hall, and many of the academic facilities available to undergraduate students. Combined, this visit will help you discover if Hofstra is a place you can call home.

Auditions
Cheerleading
The Hofstra Cheerleading program is a nationally recognized co-ed squad. The squad promotes school spirit for the University's athletic teams, such as the men's and women's basketball teams. Cheer performances are also requested at University festivals and admission events. See when tryouts will be held.
Dance
An audition is required for the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Dance. Additionally, students pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Dance will audition for placement in technique classes, and to determine Activity Grant awards. Get more information.

The Hofstra University Dance Team is an exciting and competitive collegiate dance team that performs at University athletic events as well as other events held on and off campus. See when tryouts will be held.
Drama
A portfolio review is required for students interested in the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Production. Additionally, students interesting in pursuing a BFA in Performance or Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Theater Arts will audition to determine initial offerings of Activity Grants to first-year students. All students wishing to declare a major in Music Performance, Music Merchandising, Music Education, Music Theory/Composition, Jazz and Commercial Music, or Music History/Literature must audition for acceptance into these programs. Get more information.
