By now, you've likely selected your dining dollars. You can make changes to your selection through the third week of the semester by visiting the Hofstra portal at my.hofstra.edu.
Through our partner, Campus Dining by Compass Group, we offer flexible dining dollars to fit your busy schedule and stay within your budget. With a variety of locations and convenient hours, you can connect, refuel, and save time and money with one of our dining dollar options. Plus, all purchases made with your dining dollars are sales tax-free!
Students and parents should plan and be aware of their dining dollars consumption, especially over the first semester. Since students can purchase coffee and snacks through their declining balance cards, some students use their dining dollars more quickly than others. You can always add to the dining dollars in your dining plan account (you must have an active dining dollars plan to be able to add additional points to your account).
The dining plan options available for incoming First-year and Sophomore residents are shown below. Plan 1 is available for commuting students only but not required. All undergraduate resident students are required to purchase a dining dollars contract as it is a condition of residency. First-year and sophomore undergraduate resident students must select from plans 5, 6, or 7.
