Note:
A Medication Request Form must be filled out by your child's physician, and must either be sent into the camp office ahead of time or accompany the medication being dropped off.

Medication must be in the original container, including the label with your campers name, dosage, and the prescriber's name.

Video Game Design Professionals - Not Offered 2025

For young professionals who are serious about creating their own video games and breaking into today's video game industry, this course offers an exciting look into the skills and techniques needed to succeed, and will result in each student designing and completing their own video games. Students will be instructed by an experienced game developer who will guide each student, whether newcomers or seasoned developers, toward their individual professional goals. Students will also gain an understanding of the many job titles associated with game design, and what skills and experience are necessary to reach their desired positions and become successful in their field. 

Instructor: Michael Pugliese
Co-Founder and President of Game Builders Academy, Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree of Fine Arts in Computer Graphics from the New York Institute of Technology where he received multiple awards for his work. Devoted to technology education for young students, Michael has worked as an instructor and consultant with Microsoft, and is also teaching Game Design at Nassau BOCES Barry Tech. Michael has over 10 years of experience in teaching young students, and has developed various courses in Video Game Design for grades K-12. Michael is an experienced Graphic Designer, a published game developer and illustrator, and an avid gaming and technology enthusiast!

Note: There is a $50 surcharge per two-week session for additional materials and staff requirements.
