In this groundbreaking course, campers will be the first to learn and animate with Adobe’s brand new Character Animator software! Using state-of-the-art face tracking motion capture technology, campers will not only design their own characters, but have them animate in sync with the camper’s own real-life movements and facial expressions!
While learning about this revolutionary movement in the animation industry, campers will gain a great foundation in the history of 2D animation, from Disney classics all the way up to the cartoons and animated films of today, including projects in character design, voice acting, lip syncing, physics simulation, and more! Along with the new Adobe Character Animator software, campers will have the opportunity to work with additional art software including Adobe Photoshop, as well as professional Wacom drawing tablets to bring their ideas to life.
By the end of the course, campers will have created multiple finished animated shorts and cartoons to take home for friends and family to enjoy. Working on the cutting edge of the animation industry with the latest in technology, campers will see their confidence soar when they see what they can create!
Schedule Half the day consists of Motion Capture Animation. For the other half of the day, your child is placed in a recreation group of 8-10 campers in of the same grade and gender where all campers enjoy lunch, instructional swim and recreational sports.
