Marine Biology Camp 2018

For Campers Entering Grades 2-9

Session 2: July 46 - July 27

In this two-week specialty, campers will explore various marine organisms, such as algae, seaweeds, cnidarians, mollusks, porifera, echinoderms, osteichthyes, chondrichthyes, and cetaceans.  Campers will create and maintain a saltwater aquarium and learn about various marine environments.  Each day campers will explore a different type of organism and learn how to maintain a saltwater aquarium.  Hands-on dissections, off-site field trips, and guest speakers will diversify this program and inspire campers to delve into marine biology.

Note: There is a $50 surcharge per session for additional equipment and staff requirements.
Schedule: Half the day consists of Marine Biology. For the other half of the day, your child is placed in a recreation group of 8-10 campers in of the same grade and gender where all campers enjoy lunch, instructional swim and recreational sports.
