Note:
A Medication Request Form must be filled out by your child's physician, and must either be sent into the camp office ahead of time or accompany the medication being dropped off.

Medication must be in the original container, including the label with your campers name, dosage, and the prescriber's name.

The Counselor Apprentice Program prepares campers for all aspects involved in being a counselor. This comprehensive program will teach campers about childcare, best practices as related to Hofstra Summer Camp’s policies and procedures, and understanding camper needs. Workshops and seminars, such as bullying prevention and CPR training may be offered throughout the summer. Counselor Apprentices will experience a rotation of various programs within Hofstra Summer Camps, giving them practice in working with various groups of campers and activities.

Eligibility Requirements
Campers must be entering 10th grade (sophomores) or 11th grade (Juniors) by September. Enrollment in this program must be for at least sessions 1, 2, & 3, for a total of 6 weeks. Session 4 is an optional and additional one week session.
