Note: A Medication Request Form must be filled out by your child's physician, and must either be sent into the camp office ahead of time or accompany the medication being dropped off.
Medication must be in the original container, including the label with your campers name, dosage, and the prescriber's name.

Introduction to Computer Hardware and Essentials
Students will learn the basics of computer components, repair, upgrade, maintenance, operating systems, and virus protection. Students will also learn about the Information Technology (IT) career paths and how computers are an essential tool in our daily lives. This course will be a combination of hands-on and lecture-based activities including the exploration of popular Word Processing applications.
Computer Hardware and Networking
Students will learn how gaming systems are made and learn what system integrators do. Students will cover topics such as RGB lighting, overlocking, temperature, airflow, cores, hyper-threading, memory frequency and graphic cards, all while using hardware such as Alienware, Origin, Maingear, Digital Storm, CyberPower, and iBuypower. Prerequisite: Introduction to Computer Hardware and Essentials
Schedule: These are full day programs in Computer Hardware, which will take place at Nassau BOCES Joseph M. Barry Career & Technical Education Center. All classes take place at the Nassau BOCES Barry Tech campus between 10am-3pm. If you opt to use Hofstra Summer Camps transportation camp times will vary.
