Lunch

All lunches are prepared and served on-site by Hofstra University's premier dining partner, Compass Group. We offer a rotating menu that includes an entree, a starch, a vegetable, and a dessert each day. For campers who prefer alternatives to the daily menu, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, salads, and bagels are available daily.

Please note that Hofstra is a peanut-aware camp, and allergen-free meals are available at each dining location for campers with specific dietary needs.

Medical Staff

Hofstra Summer Camps proudly offers a fully-staffed, onĀ campus infirmary throughout the camp season. Under the guidance of our Medical Director, a practicing Registered Nurse, campers receive compassionate and professional care for everything from minor injuries to more significant medical needs.

Our team includes Registered Nurses (RNs), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), and Infirmary Counselors stationed across our indoor and outdoor facilities to ensure timely care whenever necessary. We are also equipped to handle and administer any medications required by campers.

Transportation

Hofstra Summer Camps offers door-to-door transportation, as well as area pickups (where door-to-door is not available) for all campers*. The deadline to submit transportation requests (if not selected at initial registration) is two weeks prior to the start of each week.

*Transportation is included in the tuition for all camps, except Sports Academy - where it can be pruchased for an additional fee.
