Note:
A Medication Request Form must be filled out by your child's physician, and must either be sent into the camp office ahead of time or accompany the medication being dropped off.

Medication must be in the original container, including the label with your campers name, dosage, and the prescriber's name.

Summer Camp Staff Mandatory Dates 2025

Summer Camp 2025 Dates

Monday, June 30th – Friday, August 8th, 2025
Hours: 8:15am – 4:30pm
Camp is closed Friday, July 4th
Employment the week of August 11 - August 15 by invitation only.

All staff members are required to be at camp at 8:00am, Monday June 30th, the first day of camp.

You're contract is for summer camp season, including orientation and training days. Our campers are expecting to see you every day. Your salary will be prorated for any missed days. You must inform us prior to the start of camp of any conflicts due to graduation or college orientation.


2025 Orientation Dates

These orientation dates are mandatory.

The following days are essential to your learning and success at camp this summer.

Additional pre-camp trainings are required for specific positions (e.g. Lifeguards & Adventure Staff). Those dates will be communicated to the appropriate staff closer to the start of camp.

Any individual visiting the Hofstra campus or attending on-campus programs or camps will be required to follow all such rules and University policies relating to health and safety. Participants will be notified of University policies prior to the start of any on-campus program.
