Economic Development

NCSS has participated in a number of economic development projects for businesses, not-for-profits, and government agencies, with a focus on creating prosperity for all people and places. We have consulted for engineering firms, housing developers and financial institutions; state, county, and town agencies; and NGOs in a range of fields. Our approach, both as academic researchers and business consultants, has been holistic, reflecting the view that strategies for regional and community growth must link all sectors – from education and transportation to health and housing – and be both data-driven and human-centered.
