For majors and minors, we provide experience outside the classroom that ranges from ethnographic films at the Margaret Mead Film Festival in New York City to visits to a Native American sweat lodge in eastern Long Island. Students have traveled to the annual meetings of the American Anthropological Association, and others have received prestigious internships with nonprofit social justice organizations.
