Details of the life of bisexual rock star Brian Slade are uncovered in this moving drama. The film slightly mirrors the
life of David Bowie as “Ziggy Stardust” in Britain during the 1970s. Christian Blade plays the role of fan and reporter
Arthur Stewart, hired to uncover the story of Brian Slade’s staged death.

LGBTQ History Month Opening Reception

Hofstra’s Inaugural LGBTQ Month Opening Reception will feature keynote speaker Dr. David Powell, professor of
French and director of the LGBT Studies Program at Hofstra. Student speakers will address attendees, and light food
and refreshments will be served.

Transgender Community (a Diversity, Dialogue and Desserts Series event)
