Hofstra's mathematics program offers students an excellent foundation in the field of mathematics, leading to successful careers in education, industry, finance, law, medicine and actuarial science. Our dedicated faculty, all of whom hold doctoral degrees, pursue wide-ranging interests in research and scholarship. Courses are taught in small classes and seminars, and students have the opportunity to work closely with faculty on research projects.
