Hofstra University

The Department of Engineering at Hofstra University has been offering ABET-accredited degrees since 1971. The faculty within the department have a strong commitment to teaching as well as a diverse number of research interests. Recent graduates of the engineering programs have gone on to graduate school at institutions such as the Carnegie Mellon University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Duke University, Stanford University, and Renesselaer Polytechnic University to study engineering and other fields such as business, medicine, and law. Companies and institutions such as Underwriter's Laboratories, The US Patent and Trademark Office, Estee Lauder, Goldman Sachs, and UPS have also hired recent graduates. The Department of Engineering offers degree programs in five distinct engineering fields.
