The federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and other federal law requires colleges and universities to publish and distribute an annual security and fire safety report containing policies and procedures as well as campus crime statistics.
Hofstra University’s annual security and fire safety report contains information regarding security and personal safety, including topics such as crime prevention, fire safety, crime reporting policies, disciplinary procedures, and other matters of importance related to security and safety on campus. The report also has information about crime statistics for the three previous calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Hofstra University; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. You can obtain a copy of this report by contacting the Department of Public Safety at 516-463-6606 or by downloading this page in Adobe Acrobat.
