Inside the Office

About the Provost's Office

The Provost is responsible for the smooth operation of the academic units of the University, including all the University's schools and colleges as well as the libraries, with the exception of the medical school, which reports directly to the president’s office. The Provost also chairs the University Senate, which is the major shared governance organization.
